What's Your Favorite Part About Walking and/or Exercising...

Postby wvvdiup1 » Mon Jul 30, 2012 8:35 pm

What's your favorite part about walking and/or exercising your dog? I don't have one thing specific when it comes to what is my favorite part, but I do just love spending quality time with my dog, because it is so relaxing.

Ooooh  I luuuuurve when I go for a walk with just dodge on his own for long lane walks (rare nowadays cause we have maddie for walks most times for that time of day,I dont like walking along the lanes later in the days because of the weird folks we have here :eeeek: :): ) he is soooo calm wlking and its mainly a lulling stroll really

Going for a run up the park my favourite thing ever is to see him doing the zoomies . . . doesnt happen an awefull lot so when he does proper go for it . . . . I just love watching him go for a mad run  :yay:  . . . . this is when his bum seems to be tucked under and his backlegs look like they are trying to overtake his body,so funny to watch,I d love to get a video of it but as soon as he starts running I have a nano second to get the video rolling,no signs,he just takes off . . . . love it :turning-dog:  :run: :run:

i like it when we take them somewhere new. Lottie has got such a zest for life now that she has to check out everything and loves to bound through puddles and long grass. Lemmy likes to go check out other animals he see's like the cows and horses and he loves to go see the donkey at the farm shop. i like walking scenic places great for the dogs to have a sniff around and lovely to look at.

Mine loves to swim too! But, before she swims, she likes to go "fishing", especially when we're in the creek or the lake, depending what body of water we're in! :th_lmao: Yes, it does tire them out, doesn't it! :th_lmao:

I love watching Dottie stalk and point birds. It's mesmerizing.

And watching Annie stuff her entire snout (and half her head) down a gopher hole is so comical, I can't help but laugh out loud.
If I could have any dog in the whole world--any dog at all-- I would choose the two I already have.

Chester loves water, we have Millenium feild where we live which has 4 ponds and a stream. I love watching him jumping in and frolicing about he comes out covered in weed and mud but looking ever so proud!! :eewww: I think he may be a bit OCD because he insists on doing each pond in a particular order!!

I would think that walking, discovering things, seeing the sights and sounds would be relaxing. The reason I think this is because it takes your mind from the things that are bothering you and walking your dog helps by letting your mind wonder free for a little bit. Sometimes I find the answers to the questions or problems I have just by letting my mind wonder a bit.
